Dear P.S.181 Families,  I would like to take this opportunity to re-introduce myself. My name is Ms. John, and I am the Parent Coordinator at P.S. 181. I thought that I would like to share a little bit about my background to give you a better understanding of who I am.  Just like you, I am a proud parent of children in the NYCPS system. I enjoy working with parents closely and serving as support for both the school and the parent community. I would like to welcome you to our school and give you an idea of ways I provide support to our parent community!  

During the course of the school year, I will:

• Provide meaningful and educational workshops that meet the immediate needs of our parent community.
• Provide support and advocacy when parents need help navigating the school system.
• Provide resources and referrals to community-based organizations that can meet your needs!
• Keep all parents in the loop regarding events happening both in the school building and the school district.
